A Minnesota specialty clinic needed a reception desk for their new building. The waiting room has a semicircular glass wall behind the patients, and the entrance to the left of the waiting room.

The desk needed to accommodate two receptionists, address entering patients, monitor waiting area, provide HIPA privacy and ADA accessibility. suggested a curved face which would allow receptionist to address entering patients, yet be able to face the room.

These parameters suggested a curved counter. The bronze columns reflect bronze accents and fixtures throughout the clinic, and the custom enameled copper tiles reflect colors of Minnesota leaves and sky.
